After the success of the first all digital Guerrilla Collective showcase created and hosted by the fantastic people at The Media Indie Exchange, they asked me to jump into a handful of other upcoming showcases. At that time they were approached by Thunderful Games to conceptualize and build an entire showcase of upcoming games coming out of their studio.

Getting to build the assets for this showcase was rad for a number of reasons. Chief among them was the ability to get to build animated assets for a showcase that was hosted by the one and only Mark Hamill. What a cool opportunity.

The great thing about it is going in we knew which games we were going to show off from segment to segment. That meant that I could look at trailers and keyart for those games and base transitional elements based on the art and objects found in those games.

I'm going to embed the full showcases below for you to take a look at if you choose, but these showcases included incredibly high-concept art that needed to be broken down to it's singular elements and brought to life.

Below is the full Thunderful Games showcase. If you love indie games and Mark Hamill you'll for sure love this whole showcase.

Here are a few more quick looks at a few of the assets I built for the showcase. Again, looking at the games being presented and custom modeling and building environments on the Thunderful World to make everything feel cohesive.
