2020 did a lot to a lot of industries, one of which was the video game industry. Year in and year out since I could remember June/July would roll around and I'd clear my schedule for three straight days for all that E3 had to show me.

However in 2020 all in-person events were canceled and moved into all digital showcases which left a lot of publishers and developers out on a limb with all the content they'd created now not having a place to live. Enter The Media Indie Exchange and their first big digital showcase Guerrilla Collective.

The challenge was to create an engaging and exciting digital showcase that'd somehow be engaging and exciting enough to bring in viewers the way an E3 showcase would. TheMIX saw the challenge and answered the call, then tapped me to jump in and bring it to life.

This is the first Guerrilla Collective showcase in it's entirety.

But we weren't done there. Not even close. As the years went on TheMIX realized that there was a real need for indie publishers and developers to have a place to showcase their work that wasn't being gatekept by big pricetags or personalities that were too big to handle.
For the second year in a row it looked like E3 was not going to happen and TheMIX was once again there. After seeing millions of live views on their own channel as well as multiple co-stream channels and partner channels for the first Guerrilla Collective, we jumped back in for the sequel.
What good is a sequel without a strong third entry. That's right, we had us an opportuinty for another entry in the Guerrilla Collective series of digital showcases.

Now multiple of millions of views later The Media Indie Exchange returned with the same passion, same vision, updated look and feel.

Which brings us to this year, 2023. At this point it's "another year, another Guerrilla Collective". But that wasn't our approach. We knew that at this point we had set a really rad precedent in being the premiere digital showcase to show off what indie developers and publishers were doing that year. So we had to rise to the occasion.

This time TheMIX took their show on the road and jumped into a beautiful space created by the lovely people at Kinda Funny to host the showcase.

Needless to say this new venue added a ton of visual value to what we wanted to show, and I think we absolutely nailed it.
